Quaid is requesting that the court end his child support payments upon the completion of their high school education. Furthermore, he seeks to have any additional payments, which are contingent on his fluctuating income, prorated to align with the twins' graduation dates rather than calculated over the entire year. This move follows his previous court filings in 2020, where he expressed willingness to adjust payments based on his income, provided they remain reasonable. Quaid and Buffington's divorce was finalized in 2018, marking the end of their 14-year marriage. Quaid has been married four times, including to actress Meg Ryan, with whom he shares a son, Jack Quaid.
