Kip was passionate about sports, coaching his children in baseball and basketball, and was a lifelong supporter of the Tennessee Volunteers. He enjoyed reading, writing, and discussing history with his family. Kip is survived by his wife, four children, 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is remembered for his love of family, sports, and the simple joys of life. Services will be held later in Munising and Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
