Prateek Yadav, the younger son of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav (founder of the Samajwadi Party), died at the age of 38 early this morning in Lucknow, India. The cause of death has not yet been confirmed, but he had been suffering from lung-related issues and was undergoing treatment for a blood clot in his lungs. Prateek secured an MBA from Leeds University in England and was known for his dedication to fitness, often sharing his gym routines on social media. He gained recognition in September 2012 when he was featured as 'the international transformation of the month' on a bodybuilding website, attributing his success to encouragement from his father. Despite his family's political background, Prateek chose to stay out of politics, focusing instead on his real estate and fitness business, including a gym named 'The Fitness Planet' in Lucknow. He was also committed to social causes, running an NGO for homeless individuals and advocating for animal welfare through his organization 'Jeev Aashray'. Prateek married Aparna Bisht in 2011, and they had two children together. Aparna is currently an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), having previously been part of the Samajwadi Party.
