On May 14, four youths riding two motorcycles in Balrampur district, Uttar Pradesh, had a close call when a large tree uprooted by strong winds fell onto the road. The incident, captured by CCTV on the Srinagar-Bhainsahwa road, shows one rider managing to escape just before the tree collapsed, while three others were trapped under the branches. Fortunately, none of the youths sustained injuries, although one motorcycle was significantly damaged. Local residents reported that the youths expressed relief and gratitude for their safety. Balrampur Sadar Sub-Divisional Magistrate Hemant Gupta confirmed that police and villagers worked together to remove the fallen tree and restore traffic flow.
