In response to the escalating situation, the U.S. has announced plans to deploy 5,000 troops to Poland, a move that aims to reassure Poland and neighboring NATO states, including Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The EU's Ambassador to Ukraine has also stated that Western diplomats will remain in Kyiv despite Russian threats, indicating a unified front against intimidation tactics.
