Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh visited Kangchup Chingkhong, a village in Imphal West district, to engage with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and review rehabilitation measures. He assured the IDPs of their safe return to their homes and promised adequate security, including the construction of a permanent structure for security personnel. During his visit to Imphal College, Singh distributed a one-time grant of ₹10,000 to 754 IDP college students under the Chief Minister’s College Students Rehabilitation Scheme (CMCSRS).
