Paisabazaar, the leading financial marketplace in India, is set to enhance its 'phygital' strategy by opening its first retail store in T Nagar, Chennai, in the first week of May. This initiative aims to cater to a growing number of small business owners and consumers who prefer in-person assistance over digital navigation. Following the success of its retail stores in the Delhi-NCR region, Paisabazaar plans to establish 100 stores across key markets, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. CEO Santosh Agarwal emphasized the importance of providing a balanced approach to credit access, combining digital speed with physical trust. The stores will offer personalized experiences for various financial products, including business loans and credit cards, and will also provide services like Udyam registration and GST filing to assist self-employed individuals facing documentation challenges. This expansion reflects Paisabazaar's commitment to bringing more consumers into the formal credit ecosystem.
