Vehicles were backed up for several kilometers, with delays reported at two to three hours, transforming a routine journey into a frustrating ordeal. Among those caught in the gridlock was Supriya Sule (Member of Parliament from the Nationalist Congress Party), who shared a video from her car, illustrating the extent of the congestion. She noted that families, including children and the elderly, were stranded without information on when the traffic would ease, which also disrupted her official schedule in Pune.
