Pine Labs, a leading fintech platform, has acquired Shopflo, a checkout optimization platform, for ₹88 crore. This strategic move is intended to deepen Pine Labs' engagement with direct-to-consumer (D2C) merchants. Shopflo boasts over 1,000 e-commerce brands and has processed transactions for 60 million customers. As of March 2025, Shopflo reported a turnover of ₹14.73 crore, marking a 61% increase from the previous year. According to Pine Labs CEO Amrish Rau, the acquisition will help create a comprehensive payments and commerce platform that supports both online and offline merchant journeys. Shopflo's co-founder, Priy Ranjan, emphasized that their platform addresses critical challenges in e-commerce, particularly in enhancing conversion rates and customer experience at checkout. This acquisition is expected to significantly expand Shopflo's capabilities and reach within the merchant ecosystem.
