These gatherings, primarily attended by young supporters and women, signal a growing interest in establishing a local TVK unit. Although the TVK has not yet been officially registered as a political party in Kerala, its extensive network of fan associations, previously operating under the Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, has been active in welfare initiatives across the state. The party's success in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, where it won 108 seats and formed a government in alliance with several parties, has further fueled optimism among its supporters in Kerala. Many fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement regarding the party's status in the state. Additionally, unofficial social media pages for a 'TVK Kerala State Committee' have emerged, attracting thousands of followers, indicating Vijay's substantial fanbase in Kerala. The ongoing delay by the Congress party in appointing a Chief Minister has also led some youth to gravitate towards Vijay's star-led leadership.
