On Wednesday morning, Subedar Siddhesh Rajendra Bhosle, a 34-year-old international acrobatic gymnast serving in the Indian Army, was found hanging from a tree near his residence in Vishrantwadi, Pune. Preliminary investigations by the police suggest suicide, as Bhosle had reportedly been struggling with depression after the recent deaths of his mother and cousin. His family indicated that he had been deeply affected by these losses, which occurred within a short span of time. The police found Bhosle's body hanging from a water pipe, with both hands tied together. CCTV footage from the area showed him appearing stressed and searching for something before the incident. Bhosle had a commendable career, having represented India in various international competitions, including the 10th Acrobatic Gymnastics Asian Championship in 2017, where he contributed to the team's bronze medal win.
