On Saturday, the College of Dairy and Food Science Technology at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU) held a milk awareness camp at Police DAV Public School in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. The event aimed to educate students about the nutritional significance of milk and to introduce them to various career opportunities within the dairy industry. Faculty members discussed undergraduate programs such as BTech in Dairy Technology and Food Technology, along with prospects for higher education and job opportunities in quality control, research and development, and entrepreneurship. A session on milk adulteration detection was also conducted to address quality concerns and ensure consumer safety. Dean SPS Ghuman praised the initiative, highlighting its role in promoting the nutritional value of milk and motivating students towards careers in this dynamic field. Students were encouraged to stay updated on the admission process through the university's website and social media.
