During the 14th convocation ceremony of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University in New Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted that while classrooms teach subjects, campuses teach life skills and responsibilities. She emphasized that graduation is not just about receiving degrees but also about embracing duties towards society. A total of 1,030 students graduated, including 331 undergraduate degrees, 640 postgraduate degrees, 48 PhDs, and 11 postgraduate diplomas. Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu noted that a degree represents a commitment to society, while Education Minister Ashish Sood stressed the importance of continuous learning and responsible citizenship in a rapidly changing world. The university has made strides in social sciences and public engagement since its establishment in 2008. Vice-Chancellor Anu Singh Lather reported that 72.9% of PhD graduates are women, reflecting the university's commitment to gender equity.
