Three young men lost their lives in a tragic accident on the Bareilly-Pilibhit highway in Pilibhit district, Uttar Pradesh, India, late Friday night. The victims include Ajit Patel (30) from Siyawadi Patti and Rajat (23) from Mohalla Bagh Gulsher Khan, while the identity of a third victim, approximately 25 years old, remains unknown. The minivan was transporting 12 passengers from Bareilly to Pilibhit when it collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction in the Jahanabad area. Police reported that two individuals were declared dead upon arrival at the district hospital, and Ajit Patel later succumbed to his injuries after being referred to a higher medical center in Bareilly. Six other passengers suffered minor injuries and were treated and discharged. The police have launched an investigation, registered a case, and seized the truck involved in the accident. Traffic was briefly disrupted but has since returned to normal after the damaged vehicles were cleared from the highway.
