A new residential pre-university college for girls, established by the Gavi Mutt, will be inaugurated on May 3 near Kolur-Katralli in Koppal taluk, Karnataka. Built at a cost of ₹60 crore on a 48-acre campus, the Gurukul aims to provide quality education to rural and economically weaker students without charging donations. It will begin operations in the 2026-27 academic year, offering Science (PCMB) and Arts (HEGP) streams. Admissions for first-year PUC are now open, with integrated coaching for competitive exams such as JEE, NEET, and CLAT.
