The Gavi Mutt is set to inaugurate a state-of-the-art residential pre-university college for girls in Koppal, Karnataka, India, on May 3. Built at a cost of ₹60 crore on a 48-acre campus, the Gurukul aims to provide quality education to rural and economically disadvantaged students without charging donations. It will begin operations in the 2026-27 academic year, offering Science (PCMB) and Arts (HEGP) streams. The college will admit 600 students in its first phase, with plans to expand capacity to 2,000. Students will receive free education and boarding, only paying for food. The campus features modern classrooms, laboratories, a digital library, and a sports complex, alongside environmental initiatives like tree planting and lake creation. Abhinava Gavisiddheshwara Swami emphasized that the Gurukul's mission is to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder rural girls from accessing quality education and competitive exam preparation.
