On World Football Day, the Zinc Football Academy (ZFA) reaffirmed its commitment to advancing football in India, having positively impacted over 1,400 young players in the past year. This season marked significant achievements, including winning the Rajasthan State Men's League title and the Under-18 team finishing as runners-up in the AIFF Under-18 Elite League. ZFA also debuted its first residential football academy for girls, enrolling 20 players from rural backgrounds. The academy's holistic approach combines top-tier infrastructure and coaching with a focus on education, ensuring players receive full scholarships. Notable alumni include Mohammed Kaif, who became the first player from Rajasthan in over 40 years to represent India, and Geet Meena, who reflects the academy's commitment to nurturing local talent.
