As of its fifth day, the film has grossed ₹95.04 crore in the domestic market. On Tuesday alone, it collected ₹12.75 crore, showcasing consistent performance following a strong opening weekend. The film was screened across 6,093 shows on its fifth day, achieving an overall occupancy rate of 43.04%. Notably, night shows attracted the highest occupancy at 56.69%. Regionally, Chennai topped the charts with an occupancy of 66.8%, followed by Pondicherry and Trichy at 62% and 59.5%, respectively. Released on May 15, 'Karuppu' features Suriya as Karuppuswamy and Trisha as Preethi, marking their first collaboration since 'Aaru' in 2005. The plot revolves around a father-daughter duo embroiled in a legal battle, with Suriya's character ultimately turning the tide in their favor. The film is produced by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu under Dream Warrior Pictures, with a talented technical crew supporting its production.
