The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Vinay Rai, the fifth individual implicated in the murder of Chandranath Rath, who served as the personal assistant to West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. Rath, a former Indian Air Force personnel, was shot near Madhyamgram on May 6 and succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. The CBI, working with the Muzaffarnagar Police, also apprehended Rajkumar, identified as the main shooter, in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
