Shoppers Stop, a prominent retail chain in India, reported a consolidated net loss of ₹16.35 crore for the March quarter of FY26, a decline from a profit of ₹1.99 crore in the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations rose 13.7% to ₹1,209.79 crore, driven by the launch of 9 new stores and a focus on premium brands, which contributed 71% of total sales. The beauty segment saw a notable growth of 17%, reaching ₹309 crore in sales. Shoppers Stop's total consolidated income for FY26 was ₹5,095.46 crore, marking an increase of 8.83%. The company's Managing Director and CEO, Kavindra Mishra, highlighted a resilient performance despite global uncertainties and supply chain disruptions. Shoppers Stop is on track to retire its debt and aims to become debt-free by FY27, having already paid off ₹109 crore in debt. Shares of the company closed at ₹295.15 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, reflecting a 1.60% decrease from the previous close.
