Seunghun, a member of the K-pop group CIX, has announced his departure from the music industry following the group's disbandment after their contracts with C9 Entertainment expired. In a handwritten letter posted on Instagram, he expressed deep gratitude to his fans, known as FIX, for their unwavering support throughout his seven-year journey as an artist. Seunghun reflected on the challenges he faced, admitting that at times, he felt overwhelmed and unable to connect with fans as he used to. He emphasized the importance of taking a break to focus on his personal well-being, stating, “After much deliberation, I have decided to put down the title of singer for a while and live a new life away from the stage.” While he is stepping away, he hinted that this might not be a permanent goodbye, urging fans to remember him fondly. He also thanked his bandmates Byeonggon, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk for their companionship over the years, acknowledging that their shared experiences contributed to his happiness as part of CIX.
