Karnataka's Chief Minister-designate DK Shivakumar announced that the Congress party will reveal the list of ministers for the new cabinet on Wednesday. He stated that any names circulating in the media regarding ministerial appointments are unofficial. The final list will be determined by the party's high command and sent to Raj Bhavan in Karnataka once approved. Shivakumar also mentioned that the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the Congress Bhavan has been rescheduled for another day. Following the swearing-in ceremony on June 3 at 4 pm in Bengaluru, he plans to meet with block and district presidents and other party members at Bharat Jodo Bhavan. Earlier, a crucial meeting was held in Delhi with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leaders to finalize the cabinet composition and discuss Rajya Sabha poll nominees, marking a significant step in the leadership transition following Siddaramaiah's resignation.
