Tamil superstar Suriya has gifted cinematographer GK Vishnu a Mahindra BE6 Batman Edition car, valued at ₹28.49 lakh, in recognition of the film 'Karuppu's' impressive box office performance. The film has grossed ₹211.06 crore in India and ₹289.24 crore worldwide, showcasing its strong appeal among audiences. GK Vishnu expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking Suriya for his generous gesture. 'Karuppu' has maintained its momentum in its third week, selling approximately 18,100 tickets in major national chains like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis on a single Sunday, contributing to a total of over 57,500 ticket sales for the weekend. The film's narrative revolves around a father-daughter duo embroiled in a prolonged legal battle, with Suriya portraying Saravanan, who takes on their case. The film also stars Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, and others, and is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures.
