The team from Angeles City Science High School, consisting of Nathan Andrew Canilao, Pierre Phoella Ilagan, and Asher John Garcia, won the second grand award in the Energy: Sustainable Materials and Design category for their project titled “WinDTurbinePower,” earning a cash prize of $2,400. Additionally, they received the third special award for Excellence in Energy and Environmental Stewardship, which came with another $2,000. Meanwhile, the team from Quezon City Science High School, comprising Jose Rafael Cayabyab, Cassandra Lipango, and Eirah Riduca, won the third grand award in Software Design for their AI-integrated robot “ViSMo.” They also received multiple scholarship awards. Charly David Manuel from Alaminos City National High School was recognized in the Physics and Astronomy category with a $500 award. Education Secretary Sonny Angara commended the students for their achievements, highlighting the significance of mentorship and support in fostering scientific talent.
