On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have a packed schedule across Karnataka and Telangana, starting with the 45th anniversary celebrations of The Art of Living in Bengaluru. He will inaugurate the Dhyan Mandir and launch various initiatives focused on mental well-being and rural development. Following this, he will head to Hyderabad to unveil and lay the foundation for projects valued at nearly ₹9,400 crore (approximately $1.1 billion USD), including significant infrastructure developments in highways, textiles, and energy. Notable projects include the four-laning of National Highway-167, aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time between Telangana and Karnataka. Modi will also inaugurate the PM MITRA Park in Warangal, projected as India's first fully functional textile park, and dedicate Sindhu Hospital, a state-of-the-art cancer care facility. The day will conclude with a BJP public meeting in Hyderabad, marking a significant political event as the party prepares for upcoming elections in Telangana. Security measures will be extensive, with around 2,000 police personnel deployed for the rally.
