This significant reduction was made possible by moving into a renovated family property that had been unoccupied for years, eliminating rent costs, and lowering his daughter's school fees from ₹32,000 (roughly $385 USD) to ₹7,000 (roughly $85 USD) per month.

Despite retiring, Chilka has not ceased working; instead, he has shifted his focus to running an HR consulting practice and organizing leadership retreats.
