Thailand has introduced the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), which is now mandatory for all foreign nationals entering the country. This online system replaces the previous paper-based arrival card and is part of an effort to digitize immigration processes. Travelers must submit the TDAC at least three days before their arrival date through the official Immigration Bureau portal. The form requires passport details, personal information, travel itinerary, accommodation details, and health declarations. The TDAC aims to reduce queues at immigration counters and enhance data accuracy during entry checks. Travelers can submit the form individually or in groups of up to 10 people. Importantly, certain details such as full name and nationality cannot be altered after submission. The TDAC is not a visa and travelers must still comply with Thailand's visa requirements. This new digital approach is expected to facilitate faster airport clearance and improve coordination between immigration and health authorities, making it an essential step for travelers heading to Thailand.
