In a stunning political debut, Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) secured 108 seats in the Tamil Nadu elections of 2026, a result that has left analysts and supporters astonished. The party's success can be attributed not only to Vijay's popularity but also to the strategic prowess of Kapil Sahu, who previously worked with Prashant Kishor's Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC). Sahu's experience includes managing campaigns and data analysis for various political parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF). His leadership was particularly critical during the campaign, which faced significant hurdles, such as the tragic Karur stampede that resulted in 41 fatalities and media scrutiny over Vijay's personal life.
