This increase extends a remarkable 40% rise over the past month, driven by favorable market conditions and heightened electricity demand due to soaring temperatures. The broader market also saw gains, with benchmark indices Nifty and Sensex rising over 1% each. Trading volume was robust, with 8.02 crore shares exchanged, generating nearly ₹450 crore in turnover.
Analysts from JM Financial have maintained a 'Buy' rating on Suzlon, projecting a 51% year-on-year revenue increase to ₹5,708 crore for the March quarter, alongside an expected 54% rise in EBITDA to ₹1,068 crore and a 53% increase in net profit to ₹888.8 crore. The brokerage set a target price of ₹64, suggesting an upside potential of over 19% from the previous closing price.
Suzlon's leadership in the wind energy sector, with a 35% share in installations and a solid order book of 6.5 GW, supports its growth outlook. Despite global volatility, foreign institutional investors have increased their stake in the company to 23.9%, while retail participation has also strengthened, indicating confidence in Suzlon's long-term potential.
