Prateek Yadav, the stepson of the late Mulayam Singh Yadav, passed away on Wednesday morning in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, at the age of 38. According to Dr. GP Gupta, director of the Civil Hospital, Prateek's health deteriorated rapidly, leading to his hospitalization, where he was declared dead shortly after arrival. The post-mortem examination revealed that his death was caused by cardiorespiratory collapse due to massive pulmonary thromboembolism, a condition where a large blood clot obstructs blood flow in the lungs. Prateek had a history of health issues, including hypertension and anxiety-related ailments, and had been under medical supervision for some time. He was married to BJP leader Aparna Yadav and was known for staying away from active politics despite his family's prominence. Both Akhilesh Yadav and Yogi Adityanath paid their respects, with Akhilesh sharing his grief and memories of their last interaction.
