The higher education department of Odisha has officially notified the commencement of admissions for its free residential coaching program aimed at preparing candidates for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services examinations for the 2026-27 academic year. This initiative will provide comprehensive coaching to 200 aspirants who are domiciled in Odisha. The selected candidates will benefit from 11 months of free residential coaching, which includes food and accommodation, to help them prepare for both the Preliminary and Main examinations of the UPSC. To gain admission, candidates must clear a pre-qualifying entrance examination scheduled for June 28. Interested applicants can access the Common Application Form (CAF) on the SAMS portal starting from Monday, with the last date for submitting online applications set for June 19. An application fee of ₹100 is required, and admit cards will be issued on June 24 through the HIMS and SAMS portals, facilitating a structured approach to the admission process and ensuring that deserving candidates have the opportunity to excel in civil services.
