Krunal Pandya, the all-rounder for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has reiterated his ambition to don the Indian national jersey again, stating, “There’s nothing bigger than playing in the blue jersey once again.” Following a decisive performance in RCB's recent IPL 2026 match against the Gujarat Titans, where he scored an unbeaten 23 runs off 12 balls, Krunal reflected on the challenges of handling pressure, particularly after limited play this season. He emphasized that his extensive experience across various batting positions has helped him remain calm during tense moments. In the match, he played a pivotal role in RCB's chase of 206 runs, stepping up when the team faced a mini-collapse. Krunal also discussed his evolution as a bowler, acknowledging the rapid changes in T20 batting and the need for bowlers to innovate. He has been working on adding variations to his bowling, under the guidance of RCB's spin-bowling coach, Malolan Rangarajan. Krunal's focus remains on consistent performances to regain his place in international cricket.
