A significant outcome was the elevation of India-Norway relations to a 'green strategic partnership,' which aims to enhance cooperation in clean energy, sustainable growth, and green shipping. Modi described the discussions as 'fruitful conversations' that also explored collaboration in innovation, research, education, health services, and skills development. During his visit, 12 agreements were signed between India and Norway, marking a significant upgrade in their bilateral ties, focusing on climate action and leveraging Norwegian technological expertise alongside India's manufacturing strengths. Additionally, the India-Norway Digital Development Partnership was launched to promote digital public infrastructure and support India's Digital India mission. Modi's visit to Norway is part of a broader five-nation tour that also included the UAE, Netherlands, and Sweden.
