During the second phase of polling in West Bengal, 77 complaints of electronic voting machine (EVM) tampering were reported, prompting Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manoj Agarwal to announce a potential re-poll in affected booths. The complaints originated mainly from the Falta, Magrahat, Diamond Harbour, and Budge Budge constituencies, with Falta alone accounting for 32 complaints. Agarwal stated that a re-poll will be ordered only after thorough examination of the allegations by district election officers.
