Lokhande Prashant Sitaram has been appointed as the new Chairperson of CBSE, replacing the outgoing chair. Additionally, Varun Bhardwaj has been named Secretary of CBSE, succeeding Himanshu Gupta, who is being repatriated to his parent cadre under the Ministry of Home Affairs. These appointments are part of a broader restructuring aimed at enhancing the education administration framework. The ACC's decisions come at a time when CBSE is facing scrutiny over its digital infrastructure, particularly following reports of technical issues affecting post-result services and student complaints regarding discrepancies in the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system for answer-sheet evaluations.
