The Council Rock Education Foundation (CREF) is hosting its 7th Annual Golf Classic on June 15, 2026, at Jericho National Golf Club in Newtown, Pennsylvania. The event invites community sponsors and golfers to participate in a day filled with golf, games, and a dinner reception, all aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for students in the Council Rock School District. Proceeds will fund CREF's educator-initiated learning grants, which empower teachers to implement innovative ideas in their classrooms. Examples of funded projects include 'One Book One School,' which fosters a shared reading experience, and 'Pillars of Democracy,' which educates students about civic responsibility. Since its inception in 2007, CREF has supported nearly 200 initiatives, significantly impacting student learning across various subjects.
