This decision aligns with the academic calendar for 2026-27, which includes a total of 227 instructional days and plans for half-yearly exams in October. Meanwhile, intermediate colleges in the state resumed classes on June 1, 2026, amid similar health concerns raised by parents and government junior lecturers. The authorities have instructed all educational heads to communicate these changes effectively to ensure compliance across all schools in Telangana.
