Cooper University Health Care has announced plans for a $300 million multispecialty outpatient facility in Gloucester Township, New Jersey, which will create over 400 jobs. The facility will cover nearly 184,000 square feet and will be located on 39 acres near the Gloucester Premium Outlets, adjacent to Route 42. George E. Norcross, III, Chairman of Cooper's Board of Trustees, emphasized the importance of this project in providing greater access to high-quality specialty care as South Jersey's population grows. The facility will feature advanced specialty exam suites, a dedicated MD Anderson Cancer Center suite for radiation oncology and infusion services, and a modern ambulatory surgery center. Design work is set to commence in mid-2026, with construction expected to begin in mid-2027 and conclude by the end of 2028. The facility is projected to welcome its first patients in spring 2029, marking a significant enhancement in healthcare services for the region.
