In response to record electricity demand, the Noida Power Company Limited (NPCL) has commissioned a new 12.5 MVA substation in the Site-4 area of Greater Noida and plans to operationalize another substation in Ecotech-3 later this week. The peak power demand in Greater Noida hit 866 MW on May 28, exceeding the previous high of 832 MW.
