On May 25, Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced a collaboration with the Karnataka government to create the TKM Bizintel Hub in Bengaluru, covering an expansive area of 300 acres. This hub is designed to bolster Toyota's engineering capabilities and drive digital innovation across its operations. Key objectives include testing and evaluating mobility solutions, enhancing digital transformation, and implementing intelligent manufacturing practices. Masakazu Yoshimura, Chairman and CEO of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, expressed gratitude towards the Karnataka government for its ongoing support, emphasizing the strategic importance of India in Toyota's global framework. The hub is expected to leverage India's skilled engineering workforce and robust IT ecosystem, aligning with national initiatives like Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Siddaramaiah, the Chief Minister, noted that this partnership signifies a step towards sustainable industrial development and reinforces Karnataka's status as a global investment hub.
