Hyderabad-based Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a significant contract worth ₹3,800 crore (approximately $460 million USD) from Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc to supply aerospace parts over the next seven years. This deal marks a major advancement for India's defense and aerospace exports, establishing Sigma as a critical component in Rolls-Royce's global supply chain. Sigma will provide a range of high-precision, safety-critical components and assemblies for various aerospace programs, with deliveries facilitated through its manufacturing network in India and the UK. Sunil Kumar Kalidindi, the chief executive of Sigma, emphasized that this partnership validates their strategic investments in building a connected India-UK platform focused on quality and reliability. The collaboration not only promises multi-year revenues but also positions Sigma as a long-term player in high-value aerospace programs, enhancing its visibility in upcoming projects in India.
