On April 15, 2023, Ravindra Lature, a 36-year-old IT professional from Pune, was tragically killed when a speeding water tanker struck him after he fell off his motorcycle. The accident occurred near Renuka Gloria Society in Ravet, where Ravindra was returning from a laundry visit. Eyewitness accounts and CCTV footage revealed that the tanker was traveling at a high speed, contributing to the fatal outcome within mere seconds. The driver, a 38-year-old resident of Dehu Road, is currently in police custody, and authorities are investigating the incident, including reviewing the tanker's fitness certificate.
