In a series of tragic road accidents in Uttar Pradesh, twelve people lost their lives and several others were injured between Sunday and early Monday. The first incident occurred in Farrukhabad, where an overloaded auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a DCM truck, resulting in the deaths of four people, including a 16-month-old boy. The victims were identified as Satendra Kumar, his wife Tannu, and their son Yuvaraj, all from Habbapur village. In another incident on the Kannauj highway in Etawah district, a couple, Deepak and Anamika, died after their motorcycle was struck by a car. Meanwhile, three youths were killed when a Scorpio SUV collided with a tractor trolley in Gorakhpur, and another three died in a hit-and-run incident in Bahraich. Local police are investigating these accidents and have confirmed that many involved vehicles were overloaded or speeding.
