Kuwait's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has arrested a social media user for filming and sharing videos of air defense systems intercepting missiles. This incident occurred during a drone strike on Kuwait's international airport, which resulted in one death and several injuries, prompting the suspension of air traffic. The MoI stated that the individual was apprehended after monitoring social media content that included footage of military operations responding to Iranian missile threats. Authorities labeled the act as “irresponsible behavior” that undermines public interest and violates security protocols, particularly during such sensitive times. The suspect filmed while driving, leading to a traffic accident, which constitutes a separate violation of traffic laws. The ministry warned that strict legal actions would be taken against anyone violating security instructions or traffic regulations, especially given the current exceptional circumstances in the region. Citizens and residents are urged to adhere to official instructions and refrain from sharing sensitive material that could jeopardize public safety or national security.
