BJP leaders have strongly rebuffed allegations made by Rahul Gandhi regarding Coempt Eduteck Pvt. Ltd., a Hyderabad-based company awarded a contract by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for its digital evaluation system. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta accused Gandhi of hypocrisy and spreading misinformation. Rijiju questioned why Congress-run institutions in Telangana and Karnataka continued to work with Coempt Eduteck, citing specific agreements and work orders. Gupta echoed these sentiments, asserting that Gandhi's approach to politics is marked by deceit and confusion. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also condemned Gandhi for inciting fear among students, emphasizing the need for responsible discourse on education. The CBSE has rejected Gandhi's claims of skipping background checks and collusion with the company, further complicating the narrative surrounding the controversy.
