During a meeting, he stressed that any negligence in maintaining cleanliness will not be tolerated. Wahi called for accountability from private waste management agencies in areas lacking sanitation and urged officials to conduct regular cleanliness drives. To boost morale, he announced rewards for sanitation workers demonstrating exceptional performance and mandated that they wear proper uniforms to improve the civic body's public image. The mayor also highlighted the need for street vendors to keep their surroundings clean and reviewed the status of drain cleaning, calling for collaboration with agencies like the Public Works Department and the Delhi Jal Board to expedite desilting efforts. He reiterated that ensuring a clean city is a top priority, with efforts being made under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
