Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has been awarded a project worth ₹221.33 crore by South East Central Railway, emerging as the lowest bidder. This project involves replacing panel interlocking with electronic interlocking systems, along with the installation of indoor and outdoor signalling gears, and construction of signalling and telecommunication service buildings across various stations in the Bilaspur Division. The stations included in this project are BSPR, KLPG, ABKP, MZH, HRV, PRDL, KTMA, BJRI, KJZ, MDGR, CHRM, GTK, KLTR, PLAU, and KBS. The project is set to be completed within 730 days. RVNL, a Government of India enterprise, reported a 3.65% rise in net profit to ₹322.83 crore in Q3 FY26, compared to ₹311.44 crore in Q3 FY25, with revenue from operations increasing by 2.56% year-on-year to ₹4,684.46 crore.
