A tragic incident unfolded in Faridabad, Haryana, where a 24-year-old man was arrested for allegedly murdering his 51-year-old neighbor, Mukesh, after the latter protested against the harassment of his daughter. The victim, originally from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, had been living with his family in Sector-16A. The confrontation began when the victim and his relatives scolded the accused for following and harassing his 19-year-old daughter. Following this altercation, the accused lured Mukesh out for a conversation, after which he went missing. Concerned family members alerted the police when they could not locate him. The police later found Mukesh's body in a nearby jungle early Friday morning, with multiple injuries indicating foul play. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the murder, leading to his arrest and the registration of a murder case at Saran police station. The victim's body has been handed over to his family after an autopsy.
