On May 17, 2023, Delhi Police apprehended three suspects in connection with the murder of 22-year-old Jishan in Seemapuri, east Delhi. The police were alerted around 11 PM on Friday when a passerby found Jishan injured near Dilshad Colony and rushed him to GTB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. An eyewitness named Gaurav reported that he and Jishan were walking through a service lane when the suspects confronted them regarding an old dispute. Gaurav attempted to intervene but was warned by the suspects not to interfere. During the altercation, Mohd Aman allegedly restrained Jishan while Sonu stabbed him in the chest with a knife. Laxmi Narayan also participated in the attack, using a stick to beat Jishan. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene. Fortunately, police have arrested all three suspects and recovered the weapons used in the crime, including the knife and stick.
