Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University (TNJFU) will start online registration for undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2026-27 on May 15, 2026. The university offers eight undergraduate programs through its ten constituent colleges and one affiliated private college, with a total of 476 seats available. Various reservation categories are in place, including quotas for sports, vocational stream students, and children of ex-servicemen. Additionally, candidates from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, foreign nationals, and Sri Lankan Tamil refugees have separate allocations. The application fee is ₹250 for SC, SCA, and ST candidates, and ₹500 for all other categories. The last date for submission of applications is June 14, 2026, with the rank list based on Higher Secondary Examination cut-off marks. General admissions counseling will occur online, while special category applicants will have in-person counseling on dates to be announced.
